When Missie was growing up her mother taught her that one, she does not need a man to take of her and two, to be humble. When she got to be 24 she had meet a nice guy so she thought but after he cheated on her he took all of the money and that is how she has lived her life until she had a day where a man took her out to get clothes and some food he was a good man he had asked her about her life story and she broke down and cried because the man was her brother in law. When she came to her senses she told him and he began to cry a little but when they left she asked to be dropped off at the shelter and what he said killed her insides.¨They took that thing down two days ago to build a walmart.¨ When she heard the news she had just told him …show more content…
Then the light turns green and he said”Here” and he had given her a note saying “Stop asking for money stupid bum”. She cried and then she walked closer to a corner store and a man in a long black trench coat walks out and in one of the pockets a lottery ticket and as he continues to walk it falls out and when she tries to give it back he say”Sorry lady I don’t have any extra money”. And so she later finds out that she had the winning card and she had now enough money to sue her ex husband and she got all her money back from the divorce she then bought a new house not huge but a normal size and two months later when she is driving she sees the same man that was extremely rude to her asking for money on the side of the road and her reaction was quite surprising she picked him up and she adopted him into her family. When she was known for what she did then she had men trying to get to know her even her ex husband but the man she choose had his own money and had to stay home and watch the newly added son Thomas he was only about 16/17 and he was rich because his parents died but then the money went to his older siblings and then he became homeless and that's when Missie found young Thomas and treated him like he was human unlike the way he treated her when she was poor but the fact that she was nice to him shocked a lot of people even her new husband
