When it snows what comes to your mind? Maybe snow angels, maybe sledding, or hot chocolate. I love when it snows because I love winter. I like having to wear big jackets, scarfs, and boots. It usually feels like winter to me around the end of November or at the beginning of December.

Snow makes me want to cozy up with a blanket in my warm pajamas and fuzzy socks and watch Christmas movies all day while drinking hot chocolate. In 2014 my family and I had a competition with some people at our church to see who could make the biggest and best snowman, we won! Our snowman was twice the size of all the other families. Last year in January my family and I went sledding with some neighbors on the horse pasture behind our

Snow insulation protects strawberry plantings, perennials, and bulbs from alternating freezing and thawing cycles. Snow helps converse the soil moisture over the winter time. When the snow melts, the water helps fill reservoirs and rivers in many regions of the world, it especially helps in the Western United States.

We are starting to have a few cold days here and there which tells you that winter is on its way. I've already pulled my winter clothes out in anticipation for winter weather. Some things my family and I plan to do this winter are having our annual snowman building contest and a snowball fight, and those can sometimes get intense when my dad gets in the zone! I plan to get my camera out to get some pictures of this seasons winter white

I still remember all the fun adventures Chase and I would have while sledding in the hills of my farm and in the town of Culbertson. One of the days Chase and I went sledding together we made the coolest snow fort I have ever seen out of sticks, snow, trees and we even had a flag. I also remember making cookies for Santa and seeing my family members dressed up as him. They would attempt to persuade us that the real Santa Claus was amongst us when in reality it was one of my uncles. I also remember all of the Christmas programs I used to have at church and school.…

If you took a step onto the snow your feet would disappear into the ground. The sky had elegant snowflakes gliding down that kept building on to the already abundant snow that lay there, although it was gray, and covered in clouds it didn't deter from the beautiful scenery. The trees marked each trial with the amazing scent of pine that would invade your nose. I never understood how snowboarding worked just that it took me from point to point fast. After many exhilarating runs down with my family, I decided that I should separate and go to the terrain park where all the jumps and rails were.…
