My mother came down to stay over the weekend and as she left Monday to return to Washington DC I got out of bed and I sat in the chair next to the bed and I prayed thirty minutes for my father. I finished praying and began to write a grocery list and I said to myself I was going to go to the grocery store at 1: 00 pm and but my instincts said go at 11:00 am, so I left home around 11:30 am and when I left everything was ok. I finished grocery shopping and on my way back home. When I reach home I would always say are you in there loud and knock on the door, he came to the door and when he opened the door and as I was taking the groceries in I felt a strong spirit that I had never felt before. I began to plead the blood throughout the house. I do believe every minute counts when you have a stroke, so what I didn’t understand is why did I have to fill out a chart that could have been filled out on the way to the hospital. It took twenty five minutes more after they found out what the diagnoses where, they started asking me more questions and they said they could not take him anywhere until the papers were filled out, so you are telling me someone is near death and we could not have gotten the information at the hospital or in the ambulance. I was taught in college when I took the CPR course sometimes you can always play by the rules although I don’t know who would imprint rules that state you must fill out the papers first before transmitting the patient to the hospital even in a life threatening situation, and this does not take a rocket science to figure this out it just sounds like they needed a new head and two new paramedics, normally one of the paramedics are able to make a good judgment call, and I have heard of two heads are better than one, but in this case you do not have to ask me what happened , I’m sure you can figure it out, I believe two heads became
