Personal Narrative Essay: What Does Bravery Mean?

Bravery, the prestigious adjective any person longs to achieve. What do you consider bravery? I consider bravery to be the act of a person to help someone or something out without expecting a reward in return. Furthermore, most people as soon as they hear the phrase “Brave” they instantly assume a man with great audacity and some big event like in the movies, however, I disagree with that assumption. Like I said earlier, I believe bravery is the act of someone being helpful to another person without requiring a reward, no matter how big or how little the act may be. For instance, the time period in which Martin Luther King Jr. helped all of the blacks achieve more rights, was, in my opinion, one of history’s bravest stages. MLK Jr. faced all
