Although there are many tough parts about being a teenager, two of the hardest things are waking up incredibly early before sunrise and doing the piles of homework that all of your individual teachers assigned. Having great time management skills, the homework does not bother me as much as the 5:30 wake up does. When my siblings start attending high school, I will advise them to work on their time management skills. This would include doing all of the homework the day they are given it, no matter when the due date is. This will open up time to do other things with friends …show more content…
One of them is the freedom of driving. Driving for a teenager is like a bird flying for the first time. Being able to go anywhere — with your parents’ permission—is the first true feeling you get of leaving home. You no longer have to rely on your parents to drive you to school, your friend’s house, or to that one beach party you wanted to go to over the summer that your parents did not want to drive you to. My advice to my younger siblings would be to always make sure to tell your parents where you are going. With all that freedom, one can forget to tell a parent where they are going, and that could quite possibly mean the revoking of your car
