Turning a dream into reality
Born into a family of 2 brothers and 1 sister, I was the 4th boy in the family and was named James. Being born in a big family has taught me a lot like coping up, competition, caring for others and most of all loving people. Coming from a family where discipline was rarely enforced and children learnt from each other, team abilities and toughness came in really early.
As a young boy I dreamt of marching in a uniform and being awarded medals for serving my nation. But I strongly believe that pursuing any dream and turning it into reality is never going to be easy. Moreover if we leave our dreams unfulfilled just because they are difficult to achieve then life itself would become a boring mechanism of doing what everybody else does and what is easy. That has never been the purpose of my life. I strongly feel that chasing my dreams is important to me because it gives me so much of happiness and motivates me to live life to the fullest. There have been small and big obstacles in the way of every dream that I have tried to pursue and at such points there has always been only one option that I have chosen and that is to accomplish it at every cost. The feeling that I get when I think of the day when I succeed in graduating college is exceptional for me because it makes me happy to think that I will make my parents proud. I believe that every child dreams of making his or her parents proud and seeing them express this pride on the graduation day is something very special. Moreover the belief and thought that they would live this pride forever if I succeed in joining the military helps me stay motivated for even
