Personal Narrative Essay: The Vietnam War

I logged into Unturned on the beautiful, tropical island of Hawaii. The sun was already coming up, smiling from its nap. I'm the only one at the outpost my team has found to reuse as a checkpoint. The rest of the unit is either on patrol duty or scavenging for supplies, since we've only received one airdrop from H.Q. all month, I fear that the eastern raiders have sabotaged our supply line. I was tasked to finish the new wall to create two lines of defense. The new wall would be on the outside and the existing wall on the inside. As I was heading to the wall I spotted a person in a checkered mask and black clothing with an avenger, also know as the Desert Eagle, trying to get in the non-reinforced part of the wall.
¨Hey, you noisy baboon!¨ I yelled.
He swiftly turned around; however, he was too slow to pull out his gun before I shot him with my Barrett 50 Cal. I will regret

They couldn't have picked a worse time to come to the rescue.
¨Hey! Where have you been.¨ I asked the captain.
¨We were out scavenging and helping the locals,¨ he replied,¨ about 4 hours later H.Q. told us to get pack to the outpost because there was a raider attack going on.¨
¨Well, that explains why you were as slow as tortoises.¨ A repair team restored the second wall as well as reinforced it with more pillars and shields. Then a building team restored the outer wall and improved its design. The barracks had to be replaced, and the vehicle bay's roof collapsed on the Humvee's costing us a lot of resources. Command sent the 5th infantry division along with some tanks pulled from the iron giant's company. They finally changed some regulations. So, it looks like I’ll be having company when the main unit is out doing a task, no more starting battles because of loneliness for me! I tend to not make smart choices when the rest of the unit is out so It is nice to have someone to correct those

Thousands of years ago, people started being punished to work on a monster of a project called The Great Wall of China. The Great Wall of China was an inconvenience to the country; even though it was a very famous historical landmark, it was a waste of time, resources, and men. In 221 BCE the Qin dynasty rose to power. Shi Huangdi, who called himself The First Emperor, was the emperor of the dynasty. He started building The Great Wall.…

She was one of the girliest girls I knew since grade school, with her stylish culottes and pink garments of all different shades for all different occasions. She was the epitome of a mixture between pure innocence and quirk that boldly took her rightful place in the middle of my heart. Mary Anne wasn’t just all of that; she was also my affectionate girlfriend, my warm-hearted best friend who I could talk about anything with, from the most trivial things to the very meaning of our whole existence. At the time, all I could feel was the absolute joy that I got from spending my time with her. We had our entire happiness in the future planned out, a dream wedding and all, but maybe that was the reason why I wouldn’t have ever imagined that I would be feeling so lost and empty just a few years later, alone and missing a part of myself.…

Meanwhile, poor Sarah was home worrying about me, and the weather, which appeared particularly nasty. Texas is where we learned the phrase “tornado watch.” In fact, when we left Texas to finish flight school in Fort Rucker, Alabama she said she would never live in Texas again. At the time, I was too worried about dying in a helicopter crash or failing the next phase and “washing out” to give her the attention she deserved. We were newlyweds, and she forgave me-…

The Vietnam War 1.)The statement of ,“The war can’t be won unless the people support it”, is an invalid statement. It appears so that some of the people in America have not supported any war that their military have been involved in, but does that mean that the United States have not won? When one acts upon something without support it does in fact make it harder for them and the situation entirely but do people not succeed? The support of the war helps because then the “war effort” is greater, the supplies provided for the troops is greater, and the probability of winning is in fact greater as well.…
