The Trip of a Lifetime
Ever since I was little, I loved the idea of going all over the world. My family never had the money to travel anywhere exciting, but the summer of 2016 was different. My uncle Terry lives in Spokane, which is in Washington. My mom decided it was time to go on vacation and visit, so we hopped on a train and went to visit him. My mom, my uncle Cory, my four cousins and I all went together, so they could also see Terry. In my opinion, the most exciting part was the train ride. It was a 24-hour train ride, but it was the most beautiful ride I’ve ever experienced. There is a car in the train that is called the observation deck. He spoke quietly, gently shook me and said, “Ma’am, I believe this is your stop. Rise and shine.” I was groggy, said thank you, then got the rest of my family awake. My uncle was awaiting our arrival and proceeded to help us all get our luggage into the taxi. We went to his house, unloaded all our belongings from the taxi and went straight to bed. When I woke up the next morning, it was about 1 P.M, and as soon as I walked out of the room, I could smell the aroma of garlic in the air. After that day, the next few days were us unpacking and hanging …show more content…
For me, the week whizzed by. We went to a big cat zoo and I got to feed a lion, we went to the mall and went to a trampoline park, and most fun of all was laser tag on the last day. It was my first time going to laser tag. “Don’t worry, just breathe and be observant”, was what one of the veterans told me. I told him that I’m a terrible aim, but all he said was, “just have fun with it”, which I did. While in the arena, there was fog, loud sirens blaring and the sound of people getting stunned with the laser guns. It was pitch black, except for the flashing lights and neon paint splattered on various walls throughout the arena. I got hit a few times, but overall finished 4th out of 18

Have you ever stopped caring so much that whatever happens, happens? I remember the time I had gotten in trouble by my mom because I had walked home from school. It was a gloomy day from it being so cloudy and cold. I was talked into walking home during school by friends whom, at the time didn't care about school as much as I did, cared nothing of school. I didn’t like it, but then again I started not to care either.…

Throughout the first week I went to Raging Waters with with one of my best friends. The main reason we went was because we really wanted to go on their new ride, Aqua Blaster, and once we did we couldn't stop. Another fun thing that I did was going to Disneyland and California Adventures. The only reason I was able to go was because someone I knew got a job there and was able to let my friend and I in for free.…

The thing about running is that you hate it until it’s over, at least for me that’s true. Personally, I like running, and it gives me a chance to get out and work towards something. All throughout high school, I’ve run track, and for two years I ran cross-country, both are great sports. The two years I ran cross-country made me wish I ran all four years. If you’re part of more than one sport, it’s natural to choose a favorite.…

My brother wanted to go the epcot center but we couldn’t and space mountain was shut down the whole day for maintenance. But that still wasn’t as bad as what happened later. My mom packed heaps of stuff and somehow, magically it all fits in this small 2 by 4 luggage bag. The taxi ride was interesting as it drove past the new empire states tower (old empire states building was destroyed in meteorite strike) which was built over a huge crater. I arrived at a motel and rented a room then set out to the museum where they are showing a free broadcast of jurassic world 10, best movie of 2063. The museum was large very large to the point where it dwarfs the entire national airport.…

There was no time for a break, we were off to the next one. By “one”, I mean roller coaster, but this wasn’t just any other roller coaster, this was the Dragster. The record breaking, rapid and towering Dragster which was located at the amusement park Cedar Point, in Ohio. I watched my friends walk briskly in front of me anticipating the next thrill. We were walking with Baylee in front, Abby following her, Tiffany next, Megan after her, and Alyssa dragging behind with me.…
