Story: It all started when Mr. Dejong assigned the homework where you had to catch worms yourself and go fishing with the worms that you caught. It was the perfect day to go fishing, and it just rained so I decided to go worm catching so I did.
As I went outside I started to dig a flower bed as my mom instructed me to. As soon as I found rich soil, I started to dig. I found one worm, then another, and another soon I had about 14 worms! When I went back inside to tell my mom and dad, my dad said
“I’ll take you outside to the pond so you can go fishing.”

I had just woken up from sleeping at a hotel, in Washington D.C. My family was on vacation and today we are going to see the white house!
My mom told us all to get ready quick so that we could go eat breakfast and go!
As soon as we were all ready we went downstairs to breakfast area. There were make-your-own omelets, pancakes, waffles, eggs ex. There was so much to choose from! I decided to make my own omelet with ham, cheese, cilantro, more cheese, turkey, tomatoes, and cheese. I also got a yogurt, and some potato bites(Hash browns).
After we were done eating, we all went out to the bus stop so we could go to the white house. When we got to the white house. We stood in front of it to take a picture.
We took a picture and admired it for a minute, then walked away, as we were walking away, my sister Nola asked for a snack, so my dad reached back to grab the backpack but it wasn't there, my mom looked like she just saw a ghost! There was a black backpack sitting in front of the white house! Suddenly police came on bikes to examine the backpack! My dad sprinted back to tell them that it was ours but they said to stay back, after they checked it they gave it back to my dad and got Nola a
