The Not So Terrible Revenge
By: Deidra Evans
“ Should i even give him a chance guys, like i heard really bad things about him and I’m just afraid?” says LaShae.
“You never know what’s going to happen until you give it a try. If it works stay with it but if it doesn’t then at least you gave it a try.” explained Michelle.
The next day at school LaShae finally told Marcus that she would love to give their relationship a try. LaShae always had a doubt in the back of her mind telling her to look down the hall or look around the corner but she never listened to it. Every time LaShae walked down halls her boyfriend’s ex girlfriend friends always laughed and pointed at her but she never really paid them any attention and just went on with her day.

“Hey baby, i missed you last night sorry i didn’t text you back i was hooping at the gym with the fellas.” said Marcus
“Oh baby, you’re fine i was sleep anyways.” sadly LaShae said.
LaShae knew Marcus was with Katie but she didn’t want to ruin the plan she had all worked up.
“Tonight’s homecoming we still going right, honey?” said LaShae
“OH crap i completely forgot i can’t even make it tonight I’m so sorry baby please forgive me?” explained Marcus
The night went past and LaShae went to homecoming with her brother who planned to make sure she had an amazing night, she highly doubt that was going to happen. As soon as they walked in everybody complimented their beautiful outfits and how much they loved the color they picked to wear. Some of her brother’s teammates walked up to them.
“You look amazing LaShae, where’s Marcus?” asked Robby.
“Oh he couldn’t make it tonight, family issues you know.” said LaShae.
“Oh, that’s too bad he had to miss this beautiful sight tonight.” explained Carl.
LaShae started to blush as she tried to hide it, they all saw it.
“Thanks Carl, you look handsome to. We should take a picture.” said
