Personal Narrative Essay: The NFC Championship Game

Improved Essays
The NFC championship game is on Sunday and my friend Alex and I have tickets. The Eagles are playing the Packers in Green Bay. It is Friday and my friend and I are leaving in an hour. We had to pack many layers because it is supposed to be below 20 degrees and snowing the whole time we are there. We finished packing and then got into my SUV and we were off. We had about a 14-hour drive and we both were taking turns driving. I started first and we pulled out of the driveway.
“I’m gonna sleep for awhile so I have energy when it's my turn,” Alex said.
“Okay, I’ll wake you up when I need a break,” I replied.
Alex went to sleep and I kept driving. I decided to listen to some sports talk radio and hear what the analysts were thinking about the game.

The line will consist of Gerald McCoy and Vita Vea mainly at the DT position, with Unrein and Allen likely as reserves, but those two, just might end up playing a bigger role than anyone thinks!…

One ritual my family experiences is having an early Thanksgiving dinner and watching the Dallas Cowboys game. The tradition starts late on the night before thanksgiving. We start by ordering pizza, and then we begin prepping dinner for Thanksgiving Day. My sister and I prepare the side dishes, while my mother, aunt and grandmother make all the main dishes and desserts. We usually stay up all night finishing dinner prep, watching television, and cracking jokes.…
