One Sunny summer day Greg was playing war with his friends in his backyard that was huge. But that made greg think of his great grandfather he was a legend in war people would say. The sun was going down so everybody went home, that night he kept thinking about his grandfather. His mom came into his room and said “time to go to bed” so Greg went to bed and fell asleep.
He woke up but not in his bed, “where am I” said greg. He was in a tent with not much things and in different cloths , Greg went out of his tent and saw troops they were wearing blue uniforms . He thought it was all a dream but it wasn't a dream it was all real he walked around and looked at things. “Does anybody know Craig Synaz” said Greg, “Yes! I am Craig Synaz” said his great grandfather. Greg couldn’t believe it he was look at his Great Grandfather. Greg was speechless, “hi” Greg said, “hi are you new here” said his grandfather , “yes” said Greg.
“Hey were going into war in 1 week” said his grandfather but greg wanted to know more about war Greg didn't know what to do he could've said ok or no but he went with ok. …show more content…
All the troops were heading out to war greg was still very nervous they were walking out and at 9:00am they made the first gun shot , after that the war was not pretty cannons being shot in the air people screaming and people dieing it was terrifying. But they were still winning Greg hasn't shot a bullet yet he was just hiding behind a rock. meanwhile His grandpa was on a roll for shooting but greg saw his grandpa doing very good, sow he thought he could do good to. Greg got out of the rock and started shooting he was doing very well to. But he looked behind him and there were not much troops and then he looked in front of him and saw someone aiming at his grandpa. Greg sprinted across the field then the shooting happened but his grampa didn't get shot Greg did he jumped in front of the
