Personal Narrative Essay: The Girl Of My Dreams

Shining brilliantly, the sun dyed the sky a yellow-orange, and the clouds were painted burgundy. The sky was on fire, and the fire grew continuously. The cold enveloped us as we looked out into the blazing ocean. The dark blue-green water reflected the evening light, and although darkness had filled the area around us, everything was still visible. The combination of sweat, perfume, and the sea breeze cluttered the air. On my left, the girl of my dreams, her blonde brown hair dancing in the wind. My best friend on my right, out of breath, sprawled across the floor.
Four hours before. An enormous grey space stretched above the Earth, bright white lights shot through itty-bitty cracks and gaps in the clouds. Gloomy and dark the day felt, my fateful

It ends with laughter, Gabe comes in and before I could greet him, he tackles me down and starts nuzzling against me like a sad puppy. He came dressed in a black button-up and khaki pants with his trademark black and bright blue Nikes, again, he was wearing another stupid cardigan that he thinks makes him hipster. After our greetings, I noticed that the sun had begun receding so we grabbed our bikes and rode off at a quick pace. The plan, brilliantly made by me, was to go straight down the inner sidewalk, and stopping by the best food vendors as we went. Four beautifully glazed twists, two orders of roast pork with four melted cheeses on toasted bread, two large orders of fresh golden-brown fries, an okay-tasting spaghetti cone paired with delicious beef meatballs, two milkshakes from a Johnny Rocket’s, and some fish tacos for the lady, were all devoured and gourmandized in a heartbeat. It was amazing eating such delicious foods without a care in the world, seeing Annie eat so much was unbelievable because of her dainty body size, seeing Gabe eat the most was the usual sight, unappealing and fascinating at the same time. Our conversations had been nonstop, but now it was much more quiet, for me I was just enjoying being with them both, not wanting it to stop. We talked about the world and recent events, and then about ourselves and the serious things in our lives. Our dreams were shared with each other, as the cold gusts circled around us, the sounds of people enjoying themselves was heard around us. Many others like us were enjoying their time with the people they loved under this pale-orange sky, accompanied by the sounds of the ocean waves breaking and rising amongst its

When Allie woke the next morning, the outdoor decor was dark, windy, and gloomy - A low-lying mist covered the entire harbor, obscuring from view the forts and any ship that might dare sail in those conditions. The aroma of salt was stronger than usual in the air- Allie inhaled deeply before she sat down to drink her coffee. Mary O’Toole had warned her that the weather was getting bad out when she brought her coffee up. “A storms a brewing for sure,” said Mary. Allie did not mind the rain, but if the wind was blowing very hard, she would not be able to sit outside; it would blow the rain onto the balcony and soak her.…

Green enveloped me as a continued down the trail in the middle of the Redwood Forest. The ferns continued to draw ever closer as I went down a unused trail. As I surveyed my surroundings, I felt ever smaller as the monstrous trees loomed above me. The sun was barley shining because of all of the dense fog, which was just above the tree tops. What sun did come through made the light seem almost as if you were in a dream.…

Each sun ray left faster than the next and I finally reached the hammock. I swayed to the rhythm of the waves while the sun slowed down and the colors kept still. Orange coated the water and pink intertwined to create a mosaic of warm hues. The wind swirled once more and waves crashed in the distance seeming further and further away. The lids of my eyes began to shut as the colors in the sky faded to a deep blue.…

10:21 A.M. Dark clouds creep across the sun, and soon smother its light. Outside, the once glimmering Bay freezes. The walls, the carpet, and the comforter pulled over me turn gray, harden, like ash. Another minute begins to slip away on the analog clock across the room. I measure each solid thud in my chest.…

The wind caressed my cheek in a soft embrace as it blew cold wispy kisses on my skin, the dark had taken over about an hour past, and the sky was filled with dazzling stars and a moon so ominous it sent chills down my spine. The ships had set sail this morning, leaving my home behind in hopes of a brighter life, a better future. As I had taken my first step onto the old ship, the floorboards creaked and groaned reminding me of the home I left. I looked out, marvelling in the darkness that surrounded me. The dancing stars were the only light I had, but back at home I had no other source of light either.…

I have never been so embarrassed before. We were in my seventh grade health class when our teacher told us that we are doing the FitnessGram Pacer Test. I blankly stared at him for a good minute then all of it fell upon me. My hearing was blocked, palms began to sweat, while unconsciously biting my nails and shaking my right leg. As my throat began to dry, adrenaline decided to take over my unsteady body.…

I bit my lip and tried the scale again. I felt my fingers fly through the progression, and I played the phrase just as my mind imagined it should sound. I rested my hands and waited for my teacher, Ms. Julie to respond. We had been practicing this piece exclusively in preparation for my audition to a prestigious middle school for the performing arts. I was intimidated by the audition as it was, but I was beginning to feel more intimidated by my teacher.…

The girl I adored in middle school is dead, I’m not sure when she died, maybe yesterday or the day before. Anyhow, our relationship instituted on the bus. All the older kids on the bus were cruel to the younger riders. However she never displayed any bitterness toward me. Actually she always mentioned how adorable I was as she sat beside me, and together we expressed our desire to be biological sisters, consequently I no longer dreaded school.…

On May 12, 2018 at approximately 0224 hours, I observed a Blue 2007 van bearing Florida tag 4459GC leaving the Grand BLV Motel, located at 7804 Grand BLV Port Richey, FL. An NCIC / FCIC check of the attached tag revealed it to not be assigned to a vehicle. The vehicle had been observed parked in front of the Grand BLV Motel for approximately thirty to forty minutes with a W/F seated in the front passenger seat. The Port Richey Police Department has received information from multiple sources and reveived multiple complaints about the sell / use of illegal narcotics at the Grand BLV Motel. Officer D. When we came back my older brother was the only one excited because that meant he could go swimming. We were all so hungry that we ordered room service, while my brothers were in the pool with their friends. As I sat impatiently waiting for the food, I watched all of the cars pass by. I wondered what it would be like to drive, what car I would drive, how fast I would go, where I would go, the possibilities are endless. After about twenty minutes we finally ate, I don’t think I have ever been happier to see food in my life after such a long day.…
