My vision blurs out. I open my eyes to three nurses looking straight down at me. I sit up to see the sight of my brothers playing around with hospital equipment as if it was some sort of toy. Night came to say hello as I zoned out into sleep. I was looking forward to sleep more than anything throughout this entire day. I felt sweat on the back of my neck. I felt nervous again…why? Because it was freaking 3am! Again. I thought of happy things although, failed to come up with any.
I woke up with no pain the next morning. Ah, the first day of school, the most dreadful day I anybody’s life. Why? Just why did summer end. Ugh! I have to find a way to make friends despite me being the most shy person on earth.
My heart stopped as I stood in front of a huge school theatre where new kids including me stood. I took two steps forward.
“My name is Ella Smith. I fourteen years old. And I’m hoping to make new friends this year.” I say with a voice which just wouldn’t stop cracking at all.
