As I walked out of my car and up to the school bus I thought of all the memories on the bus. I stepped up the stairs and saw Rodney mopey as ever sitting in the bus driver's seat. As I walked back among all the sad mopey faces I started to smell all the body odor. I sat down next to a random kid. I rode on the bus to school it was silent because everyone was so tired. Once we got there I walked into school said hi to everybody and waited for the bell to ring. Then I headed for the first time to my first period class.

It was math class she explained the rules and gave us a paper to sign. I didn't listen to here I just messed around next to Sam which whom I was sitting next to. Not surprisingly we got moved the next day I wondered why.

I forgot then when I was in there alone for five minutes after the bell I remembered oh homeroom. Then I strolled back to homeroom and we just did nothing. The bell rang again

I went to third period. I was more excited for this one I expected gym to be my favorite because we play games. All we did there was explain the rules again I already knew them from last year. I think we got are locks then Seth started crying because he couldn't get the lock open he was throwing a fit there was a lot of muffled laughs. Then the bell rang another time. Off to fourth period I went.

I was in history this is probably my favorite class it's all about memorization. Not surprisingly he said some more rules they are always so close to each other. Respectful organized bla bla bla. Then I went to fifth period barely had to walk that far.

I went into the chilly room and sat down it seemed like we had a well behaved class. Miss Stewart a nice and very kind person. She told us the rules and what we were going to be doing this year. She gave us a form for our parents to sign some easy homework. We were very wild. I didn't think she liked us that much because she yelled at someone and looked

I made it to the school, and I see all these people walking to the school, outside of the school gate we were getting our schedule, and I got mine too, but now the problem was that how to find the classes? I remember first day of freshman year walking into my first period class at 8 am, sitting down and in huge letters across the board it said Mrs. Hillis. As I sat down I was already very nervous due to my past experience in math and now being in a high school math class I felt it could not get much worse. As I sit there I turn to my left and hear the teacher pounding on her keyboard and sipping on her coffee very obnoxiously. The bell to start first period then rang and was so loud I nearly jumped out of my seat. The teacher stands up with a stack of papers in her hand and starts handing them out to all of the students, as she is walking around I am patiently waiting for mine and when she finally slams it on my desk I read the top line and it says Quiz 1.…

I wanted to keep my book sack light, but to do this I had to make a few trips to my locker every day. It would definitely take me a minute or two because of the crowd, and I felt my locker just pointing and laughing at me as I tried to approach it. Despite the students rummaging through the halls, I was able to attend my classes on time. Of course, the first day of high school was mostly what I expected it to be like. It feels nice to have a fresh start, with some great teachers that certainly look forward to teaching me, and I most surely look forward to learning from…

I hated the uniforms because I loved wearing whatever I wanted, but it still it was kinda nice, just waking up and not trying to find something to wear. It also was the first year that I had to travel through the whole school, and my schedule was set up so none of my classes were by each other. At the end of the school year on of the teams went to the zoo for team day, but my team went bowling and to the tech center, I think that bowling was way better than going to the…

As I went to my first day of school in a new city I was nervous, I didn't know if I was going to make any new friends, if I was going to fit in. The first day began and I immediately met Randy and Byanca, little did I know at the time that they would be my friends for all of my school career. Time went by and so did the grade levels, I would always struggle with one subject and thrive in another. During my elementary and middle school years I would struggle in language arts and history, but I would thrive in mathematics mainly because I love numbers.…

First Day of School in America I face challenges everyday in my life. My family and I moved from Cuba in July 2011, two weeks before I was supposed to start High School. We moved here because of my dad’s work, he is a pediatrician and he had better opportunities here. My mom wasn’t sure about moving here, she didn’t want to leave our country, our house and her parents, and I just didn’t care about it, since I was too little to think that going to another country was going to make a really big difference in my life.…
