Your mind blanks you have so much excitement you don't know what to do. Of course this isn't my first time hunting and watching my dad shoot a deer I know what to do but i'm so amazed I actually shot a deer I just can't think, but dad knows what to do he tags the deer and says you got a nub buck. A nub buck isn't the oldest or biggest deer, but it's not a faun the deer is about a year old. after we tag it my dad gets to work gutting the deer and dragging it up to the shed. All the parts we don't need go into a bag and the meat we cut off goes into a different bag the back straps are wrapped separately. Then the deer is done and we throw it in the back of the truck and drive away to put the meat in the freezer. After you shoot a deer the adrenalin starts pumping and you're shaking so hard you have to stand. On that day I can still remember how happy my grandpa was that I got a deer, he may not be here today to see the deer I shot but I will always remember how proud he was. That day I learned something, that being patient always pays off even know that it's hard but still is worth
