The Crazy Little Girl! “Allison” What are you doing on top of the fridge? By the time I was two. I loved to climb absolutely everything I could get on like stools, the fridge, the back of the toilet, the kitchen table, and the counter tops to name a few. As you can tell I was kind of wild child who kept my mom busy by trying to keep me off of everything. I guess by now you can tell I acted like a monkey
It was extremely hot day on June 24, 1997 when I decided to be born into this world. I finally came at about super time. The doctor said it was touch and go since they lost my heartbeat four different times. But after the use of a large suction cap placed around my head. The doctor and a nurse were able to pull me free. Everyone said to my

Crazy, overwhelming, exciting, a freshman now that was how I felt walking through the doors of the school. I didn’t know what to expect from that year. A-day and B-day was something that confused me because of the different times we got out of class. The long classes were hard on me because I was used to having the 50-minute classes but I liked the longer classes after a while. Amazing, how you can have different electives each semester that is what kept my freshman year fun. My favorite class was Intro to AG. Learning about FFA and the creed was the funnest thing I did my freshmen year. The FFA National trip was also something I had looked forward to after hearing about it. I got to go into the Louisville Slugger Bat Company, the Budweiser Factory, Mount. Rushmore, the Green Bay Packers vs. the St. Louis Rams NFL football game, and the FFA National Convention. After coming back from the trip it was a real bummer to find out that I had to make up four days of homework. I would sum up my freshman year as, …show more content…
This all changed when I met the new AG. teacher Mr. Zaugg and my new English teacher
Miss Fleming. I joined art again but I’m finding out that advanced art is a lot harder than I thought. Now we get to math and lets just say that a math teacher I will never be. My favorite by far is zoology because who doesn’t like to dissect a baby pig. How I would describe all this is, Heigh- Ho! Chubby, fluffy, wide, steers judging at the fair with FFA. Did you know there are so many ways to judge animals? Well I found out that on a pig we are looking for a not to fat but not to small of a pig. On a sheep you are looking for a big lamb but not a lamb that has more fat than meat. But thankfully we don’t have to judge the goats as they are just the same a sheep. My final word on is, Yhee-haw! Excited, nervous, scared, first dance ever for me. I looked forward to the first time I would ever get to go to a dance since I was six years old. Would it be a formal dance, or would it be a casual dance for me? Would I know how to dance? Would he hold my hand? It all scared me. That is until I actually asked a boy to go to a dance with me. He then responded with a yes to me. Whats up with that they keep changing the date on the dance. Will this date ever happen? Yikes! It’s the word that describes

From middle school to high school, band became a vital part of my life. It was all I knew, it was where I felt comfortable, and this was where I pratically began learning about my leadership skills. However, my curiousity grew when I was introduced to Class Council. I thought that there was no difference, and I naively thought that since I have been a part of a leadership role for about 4 years, everyone knows me, so I thought Class Council could not be so hard. I was terribly wrong.…

Little Traumatized Girl What started off as an ordinary muggy summer morning would soon turn into a cruel and lurid day that I would never obliterate. I was discombobulated that approximately a catastrophic altercation would break out in the house while I played outside, I didn’t know that the cops would be showing up, I didn’t know that soon my consolidated life would change permanently. That proleptical morning, I tumbled out of bed and took a solid yellow cup of aqua outside to place on my swingset. It always amused me to put aqua in a cup and then by the end of the day the water disappeared, I conceptualized that I had some kind of magical hands.…

It was a Saturday morning March 17, 1996 I was eight months in my mother’s tummy and my due date was in mid April. Uncle Benito had the crazy idea of going to the snow all because my mother had never seen the snow. My mother told me of a hill she sled down from, a great slope that didn’t leave her feeling to good “No me siento muy bien.” My uncle rushed her to Granada Hills Hospital on the morning of March 19, 1996; I was born seven pounds at eight minutes until eight.…

In eighth grade, I volunteered every Sunday afternoon at Rosewood nursing home in Joliet. I would help the residents during bingo; I enjoyed helping one resident in particular, her memory and hearing were fading but she was always so happy. She loved my curly hair and would always comment one how, “no one in [her] class ever had black curls so [she] would do everything to get rid of them” and that she wished she would have let her hair be instead of spending years worrying about fitting in. It is said to children everywhere to just be yourself, but there is so much pressure to fit in it is harder to be yourself than to try to fit a mold.…

This year as a freshman at Sublette High School, has been very enjoyable. I enjoyed being around all my friends and getting to know new people. From trying new things, such as being in KAYS, FCA, and being the girls basketball manager, I learned that I liked doing things like that. Some of my favorite memories are painting pumpkins in KAYS, almost making it to state with the girls basketball team, and making a class float for homecoming. Even though I did not do very much my freshman year I still really enjoyed it.…

One of my top secrets in life is about the thing I have accomplished at my age. At the age of 15 I came to the united states of America with my widowed mother and brother trying to seek greener pastures. Back in my home country all the assumptions about a 15-year-old child is to go to school and play around, but my first three months in a foreign land as a 15-year-old boy was a little bit onerous because I was overwhelmed with school work and helping my widowed mother fend for the family. At the age of 16 I had already taken the Illinois CNA state board examination and I passed, I had already been CPR, OSHA, and First Aid Certified, I had done series of internships with the prestigious Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago, I…

Personal Health Narrative I honestly was so excited for it to be my eighth grade year. The Savannah trip, semi-formal, and moving on to high school in just one year. My first semester here at MSU was everything like I imagined it would be, but at the same time nothing I imagined it would be. I knew it was going to be stressful, but I was not prepared for all the stress that was to come. I did not know that I was going to stay up until 2AM every night doing homework or that I would have a 25 minute walk to my 8AM class. All in all, it has been both crazy and fun but mostly crazy. I am so relieved to be done with my first semester of college because at first I really had no idea what to expect.…
