We got to the Plaza a little too early and we had to wait 30 minutes. After 30 minutes, it finally started and I was so excited. It took hours to see John F Kennedy. The parade was weird because there was a lot more cop their then usual. I asked my mom and she said: “The FBI got a letter when Mr. Kennedy was on vacation that someone was going to try and assassinate him.” When I heard that I got sick to my stomach. I started to pray that it would not happen today. We were still waiting to see John F Kennedy and I was getting so excited. I heard some people saying that the governor of Texas was here, too. I thought to myself how better could this day get. In the meantime, it got to 11:00 and my mom and I went to go get some food and my dad stade behind so we would not lose the spot. I and my mom went to get lunch and brought it back and ate our salads at our spot. It was some of the best food I had ever had. When I finished I had to wait forever to see John F Kennedy. When I saw that I went crazy! Soon after, at 12:30, a couple minutes went by and their he was the man himself, John F Kennedy. I went so crazy, I was about to go up to the open top limo. In a split second, there was a loud sound and John F Kennedy was shot. Then another one and it hit John F Kennedy in the face and the Texas governor went down to. The first lady Jacqueline was crawling out of the car with John F Kennedy’s blood on her pink suit when they were driving off. I was frozen in shock the thing that I did not want to happen did happen. Everyone was running for shelter. The best day of my life turned to the worst day ever. My parents picked me up and ran to the nearest drug store and watch the News. The reporter said, “A good day turned to a bad day after the president has been shot.” I look around and so many people were crying or in shock of what just happened. Then he said that they were taking him to a hospital. An hour later the reporter said, “This just in John F Kennedy is dead.” They were looking for the killer but could not find. I thought that anyone could be the killer and they could be in the drug store even right now. I had never been more
