As a person growing up I always was one to take the easy route out of things. It was my second week working in my dental internship, and I was begging to assist the doctor with the oral surgeries. It came a day where I was told to assist Dr. Alex who I was intimidated by every time I saw him. I was frightened to help him because of last time seeing him shout at my representative kat when she committed an error. It came the day where I was advised to set myself up to help him on a three hour surgery. I was managing a considerable measure of stress being gone each day from six in the morning to seven during the evening amid senior and having a major exam for my radiology license. So obviously I was found to screw the main significant event of my entry level position. I was scared to assist him due to last time seeing him scream at my employee kat when she made a mistake. The stench of dried blood and sanitizer as the instruments are sterilizing in the big dishwasher looking machine. I was feeling a headache from the smell and the constant noise of machinery. As is was sitting in the small space of the back room on the computer, reviewing upcoming patient charts. I hear rushing footsteps, and in comes my employee Kat in her scrubs rushing to put the tray with bloody used instruments. She must be glad to be finished with her last patient with the doctor as she releases a heavy sigh. As Kat sets the instruments in the sterilizer, she takes a glance at me finally noticing me in the small space of the room being to rushed to go home per say. She gives me a thinking face as she knows shes suppose to tell me something

The Grades Challenge Freshman year was a difficult year for my grades. I was failing a few classes and it seemed like the harder I focused on the percentage, the farther I got away from it. I talked to my teachers about how I could try to get my grades up and was simply told “you won’t get a better grade.” I was stuck with what I had is what I was told, and they ended up being right about that year. I was worried that maybe something was wrong; maybe I wasn’t as smart as I used to be.…

To me, writing is just ok, nothing special. It definitely isn’t something I get excited about. My first formal writing class was in 6th grade, where we followed The Institute for Excellence in Writing’s curriculum. My fellow classmates and I mainly wrote short, 1-3 paragraph reports on various historical topics. I did well in these classes, I just never really enjoyed the process of writing.…

Viewing the past four essays shows the progress and decline of my writing style, and structure. The four essays that were required by the class varied from the best to the worst, both having their similarities and differences. Choosing two out of the four essays, I came to a conclusion that the “process analysis” essay was the best, and the worst essay was the “descriptive” essay. Although it varied from their definitions and structure, the essay’s showed how much the writer, put their work into it. The certain characteristics that made it the worst to the best defined how well the essay would turn out to be.…

Writing has been my talent since grade school; I couldn’t sing, or dance but I could write, or so I thought. Then, I entered high school and realized that writing required a lot more than it did in middle school. The brisk pace and advanced comprehension skills required for my English three AP course caused my grades to suffer. I have struggled with college level essay writing tremendously, but through hard-work I have been able to write with more ease and finesse than ever before.…

My Road to Reading and Writing As Mark Twain said, “The man who does not read good books has no advantage over the man who cannot read”. Many people today don’t take up reading or writing as a hobby. A lot of people would not even read a book for entertainment or to expand their knowledge and the most they write is a post on social media. In my opinion, most people know how to read but chose not to because they are uninterested or unwilling which causes them no to be as proficient in writing.…

I struggle academically in the start of high school mainly because I made the decision to hang out with a clique of people that diverted my focus in school and ultimately led me to creating an alter ego. I came into high school as a recent valedictorian graduate and suddenly I was doing poorly in school. Deeply inside I truly cared about my studies; however, I had to depict an image as if I trifle school in order to fit in the group. My home school and my community are located in a infamous vicinity; I can recall being paranoid as I walked to school. I could not demonstrate fear in school because I would be pictured as a vulnerable target and other students always tried to test me; therefore, it was enviable and necessary to prove myself.…

With the first essay that we worked on I did a memoir I really enjoyed working on this paper, In class we were able to get freedom to add pictures to are pictures make it a little bit more creative I certainly was not used to this; I’ve been told my whole schooling experience that you have the intro and the conclusion and three body paragraphs.
