“Ultrasound” My wife is pregnant, she hasn’t felt a move or kick in days and the fear that something is wrong is heavy on our hearts. We are about 10 weeks pregnant and on the way to our first ultrasound. I am very nervous and filled with fear of the unknown. As I am trying to be strong for my nervous wife, I know that the strength I am trying to show is just on the surface. Inside is a plethora of thoughts and questions that are racing through my mind. How can I comfort my poor wife? Will I be able to hold it together if I hear the words I fear? How can I tell our other children? Will I be unable to be the rock my wife will need? Will I fail?
