When we are young, we grow up being shaped by our parents. They guide us, as to how we should act around others and how we should live our lives. Parents try to raise us so that we can be ourselves, but also so that we stay on the original path they hope for. When we start school, we see how other people act and that sometimes affects on how we want to act. Our identity changes depending on the our surroundings.
At home, we can act how we want to, most parents accept their kids for who they are and who they want to be. At home, we can do many things like dancing how we want to or something just as simple to wearing what we want, but we can’t at school. Most students go to school for 8 hours and spend the rest of the day at home. We spend most of our childhood life at home than at school, our personality will change. When we are at home, we may be more laid back and free to do what we want. Although, if we were to go to our grandmas we would probably wear something nice. We don’t typically wear something like ripped jeans to our grandma's or a stained T Shirt. When we go places, like our grandmas we change our identity. When we go to our grandparents, we probably would cuss or talk back to our grandparents like we would at school.

There is home, school and extracurricular activities, like sports. If someone played soccer and they are in a club that is out of school, they have a chance to change their identity. Typically kids will act the same as they do at school, but some when they are outside of school boundaries, they do not have to act like that.
