1. The field was hardly a field- grass only grew in disconnected patches and the ground was unleveled- there was no equipment, no coaches, only a group of ten-year-old boys staring directly at me. The leaders and soccer balls were nowhere to be found, yet I- the one who had not played organized soccer or more like organized bench sitting since eight grade- had to think of how I could lead a soccer practice for ninety minutes. I needed to be creative. “Alright, we need warmup before we can play” I proclaimed. The team jogged a lap and I lead them in stretches for every major muscle group and the not-so-major ones, too.
