Personal Narrative Essay On Mark's Job

“I’d like to order the mozzarella sticks and that’s all. You can bring them out for my meal,” I told the waitress as I slid my menu to her.

He got out of the army three months ago and started working at the grocery store. When Mark was in high school, he used to work at the store and transitioned back into the job as soon as he returned home. I felt a little better about Mark’s job situation when he told me that he had an interview at the police department scheduled.
I’d hardly said a word and listened saw as he talked. When the waitress brought our food,

It’s funny, but the first thing on my mind when I woke up was Mark. I wondered if he was having a good day at work or if he’d fallen asleep in a box of bananas. Not only did my hair smell like smoke but so did my sheets. That second-hand smoke wasn’t anything to play with. As much as I didn’t want to wash my hair, I did while I showered.
When I was finished, I blow dried my hair in front of the mirror without my glasses. Seeing myself without my extra set of eyes made me remember to schedule an eye exam. I wondered how I would look with contacts and was a little afraid of taking something in and out of my eyes. After my hair was dry, I applied a small amount of moisturizer to my scalp and styled it. My hair didn’t look to bad, but I needed to schedule an appointment at the salon soon. The ends looked a bit dry after using the high heat setting on the blow dryer today.
Since I already knew that it was hot outside, I put on a pair of ripped shorts that I still had from college. The shorts weren’t too short. However, they did have a lot of rips and tears in them. While I thought about the possibility of one of my students seeing me in these shorts, the thought of tossing them in the garbage came to mind. That’s when I made my mind up. I was going to wear my old shorts, and that was that, if any of my students saw me they would just see

I have always been interested in learning and using new ideas. Throughout my life, I have invariably drawn from my life experiences, newly learned ideas and my continuing education to help problem-solve sensibly and realistically allowing me to move forward or help others reach their goals. Although I have no formal teaching experience, in my past work and involvement in organized sports, I have repeatedly used the Progressive philosophy. When dealing with 13 & 14 year olds many situations arise such as bullying, personality clashes or simply not understanding a drill or play. I deal with these situations by asking questions to stimulate a discussion, allowing them to draw on past experiences; positive or negative, consequently allowing them to come up with a solution or grasp the knowledge they are seeking.…

Today is going to be just like any other day, I sketched in my morning journal. The morning Baltimore sun shone past the skyscrapers of downtown, and light protruded through the silk blinds that covered half of the picture window in my room. I rose up from my queen bed. The sheets had become untucked and the comforter lay halfway off the edge. My back rested against the mahogany headboard with my head fitting perfectly between two of the wooden posts.…
