Doodle is 28 years old now. He is an Olympic runner and has won 8 Olympic medals so far in his career we live together because he still needs me everyday. Doodle has a treadmill that I customized for him because he wanted to persue himself in a career that no one would espect a “born crippled boy” to progress in for a career. “Brother, come here.”said Doodle. What is it this time?, I asked. “The elevator is not working.” said Doodle. Tomorrow you have an Olympic race that is 300 miles over the course of 10 days. “Ok, I will start getting ready for tomorrow.” said Doodle. Get plenty of rest tonight, I will take you in the morning. We headed to the Old Woman Swamp before we left to the race, we run through the beautiful place before we went.

At some point in time in their development, most people encounter an adult figure, who instills a positive change in their lives. For me, that person was Cindy Scannella--my track and my cross country coach for my first two years of high school. With her unique approach to coaching, Coach Scannella not only gave me the confidence to flourish in the sport and lead my team, but she also gifted me with a love for running. This passion of mine as well as her continual support has carried me through the difficulties of my grandfather’s death, my parents’ divorce, and other strenuous circumstances including the end of her time as my coach. “Never let your pride keep something broken that your heart wants to fix.” The story was published in 1960, it is a tragic story of a child named Doodle, conceived with a restorative spinal condition, who defeats some of his difficulties just to be rushed to death by his good-natured yet self-consumed unnamed older brother, Brother. The story doesn't specifically say how Doodle dies, but clearly, he was sincerely powerless, making it impossible to live without his older sibling's acknowledgment. While he sustains a few wounds during the storm, which are evident since he was bleeding from his mouth, I think he could have recouped if his older brother came to him. It is clear that Doodle does die of heart trouble, but not of a heart attack,…

First, he taught Doodle how to walk, which then triggered his brother to teach Doodle how to climb, swim and other life skills. All of these life skills that Doodle’s Brother tried to teach Doodle was all apart of his program to make Doodle a normal person. It was too late to turn back, for [...]both[of them had] wandered to far into the net expectations and left no crumbs behind” (Hurst 8). Since Doodle had a heart condition, he should not be working so hard because his heart is already had trouble pumping normally.…
