beep beep beep, the sound of my alarm went off at 5:00am on the first day of first season deer hunting! Caleb sat up and said turn that stupid thing off I wanna go back to bed, so I turned it off and looked at him and said get up we have to get ready. We got out of bed and started to get are hunting clothes on, I pulled up the weather on my phone and it was going to be a cold day.We finished putting our clothes on and got our guns ready and put them in the truck. And just like that we were off. We stopped at caseys to get some food. I got biscuts and gravy and I ate it really fast because I was hungery.
We arrived at our timber around 5:45. My step dad dropped us off at one end of the timber. And then he drove around to the other side where is tree stand was located. Caleb and I had a little less than a quarter of a mile to walk. We had and 25 yards to go until entering the timber, and I heard some russliing down towards the river, so we stopped and waited then we started walking and then I heard it again. I was getting a little spooked so I load my gun with 3 slugs and so did Caleb. It was probaly just and early moring coyote. We got to my tree stand unloaded our guns and climbed up.
We got in my stand around 6:10. It was all calm until about 8:00 There was lots of gunfire around us. But know bucks, a view

And then I looked at the road and 3 bucks were coming. They jumped the fence and there they were about 35 yards away, I put the gun to my shoulder looked down the sight of my barrel waited for them to stop, and pulled the trigger he dropped right where he

It did kind of scare me since it’s been awhile since I heard one of them howling like that. I felt that it’s mating season for the coyotes because I only hear that type of howl like once or twice a year. There’s another forest behind us where our different neighbor owns, the forest is quite dense enough for deer’s, coyotes, raccoons, or possums to live on. There is a small creek for water also down there but during the summer it gets nasty because of the cows that come into that pasture. Inside the forest there is a fence for the cows, usually in these woods we don’t hear about the cows getting killed or injured by any animals so I’m glad of…

I heard lots of whispers coming from the porch I thought it was someone trying to rob me. Deer hunting is a great sport I love the excitement and the rush that you get from an animal. I am always looking to improve on techniques for being quiet when the deer are approaching my stand I like to stand when a deer is coming than sitting down because it gives me more room and I can pull my bow a lot easier than sitting down. But some hunters like to sit down so they don’t scare the deer away, but I think it’s more of a challenge to do. As a deer hunter there is a right time and a wrong time for standing up when you are in an treestand like for one reason it’s a risky maneuver when you are trying not to spook a deer when standing up.…

I know this because this is what I would assume today. Again, my childish hope panned out because less than five minutes later the same three deer were back. My dad, who was extremely shocked, told me to calm down and take a long breath, shooting during the exhale when I took the shot. The deer got within twenty yards again. I, being a little more patient this time, slowly aimed at the doe.…
