I stole a glance up at where I knew the scouts were sitting, hoping they were impressed with my performance thus far. Their presence really shouldn’t have bothered me, as I was deep in the playoffs of my third year as a starting quarterback. We were in the state quarterfinals, playing against a team that was decent, more known for their defense than their offense.
