Getting my braces
Braces. Oh what a monstrous word I know. That’s what I told my mom as we wandered into the Orthodontist. I must have been trying to blow off this visit for years now. I knew I had to get braces, but I just kept that annoying little voice inside my head whispering every now and then, “You aren’t going to get braces, you aren’t, don’t even think about it.”

We waited for a little bit, not as long as we did in the waiting room, soon the doctor came in and told me all the life hacks of having braces. He also showed me a list of all the delicious food I will have to be missing out on for the next three years. He kept talking and talking. It was pretty outstanding how long he talked, he could be a swimmer. After he was finally done talking to us, he guided my mom and I into the x-ray room. He started strapping wires to on onto my face. This whole process took longer than 15 minutes. When we finally got the right amount of pictures taken, the doctor took my mother and I into the braces room, where you get your braces on
