My real start to acting came a little later than I hoped, it wasn't until 2010 when I realized I really wanted to act, I remember the day so clearly; I was downstairs doing some of my “grade 6 school work” when my mom called me upstairs to show me an ad in the paper for munchkin auditions for The Wizard of Oz at Theatre Ancaster. A couple of weeks later, after eager anticipation I got a phone call from the director of the show, I was devastated to hear that I didn’t get in the show, I was very upset and I cried for quite a long time about it; but, I’ve learned that in life you must be able to take rejection, that became my most valuable life lesson and my main advice to anyone interested in acting. Today, I have went on close to 100 auditions, and 99% of them I didn't get; however, I did not cry because I knew that there was always going to be another audition. The thing is, I ended up actually getting cast in the The Wizard of Oz and the they just “accidentally” wrote my name on the wrong list. About a half an hour later, they called me back apologizing and offered me the role as the Mayor of Munchkin land (which any 10 year old boy would dream of), it was the part I really wanted. I was automatically filled with joy, and what I didn't know is that this event would have lead me to a series of life changing events and future aspirations. I had so much fun doing this show and after that I didn't know where else I would
