We felt like we were eating in a rainforest on top of a tree. I could smell the fresh pasta coming from the kitchen. I ordered the chicken parmigiana dinner with ziti. It had a special taste to it when I added the grated cheese. It was a magnificent time for us and even my friend Ricky agreed. After we left the restaurant, we decided to get some dessert because Italian bakery in New York is very delicious. We came across a bakery called Ferraro’s which was crowded with people. The eclair and chocolate cannoli was extremely good. It was worth the half hour wait in line.
We visited the New York University and walked around the campus. I can’t visualize myself living in New York and going to school. Owning a business here would earn you tremendous profits.” My own view is that having a career in New York would be satisfying because of the significant pay but you would live an exhausting life. I wouldn’t be able to live in a rowdy and congested

New York is one of the business capitals of the world which makes it seem like an unwelcoming and cold place. E. B. White addresses this idea by slightly acknowledging this stereotype, but also ventures that this view is a misconception and that there is more to New York than one might assume. Rather than ruminating and conjecturing about the truth, it is better to travel to New York and experience the veracity…

The next morning, Mercy surprised Surina by joining her for breakfast on the sunny terrace in the backyard of her cottage. They enjoyed the leisurely meal to the sound of honey bees buzzing around an assortment of flowers in full bloom lining the edges of the garden. Indeed, the fragrance of the rhododendrons, chrysanthemums, foxgloves, roses, and lilies of the valley intermingled to create a unique heavenly perfume. In the past, Surina’s kinetic pace never allowed her enough time for breakfast other than a hasty granola bar before frantically rushing off to the hospital. In contrast, today she luxuriated in a proper full English breakfast.…

From smelling the salty waters by the Florida Keys, seeing all of the green from the stems of green beans growing, the flavor of the freshest eggs you could get from the coop in the backyard, to the avocado tree growing in the backyard, my trip to Florida had become one of the greatest life experiences I’ve had yet. Visiting Florida taught me many skills on being independent, mentally, and how easy and fun it is just to be to yourself sometimes. It all started Christmas eve when I got home to find my presents from “Santa” there before we even went to bed. My parents had planned on taking a vacation to Florida for Christmas break to see my grandparents, but we were unable to also get my parents there.…

Christmas break in my opinion is probably the second best brake that we have throughout our school year. The main thing I like about Christmas break is how long it is. But even though I like how long we are off school it's almost like we don't have a break because basketball takes over. We get a few days off but the rest of the days are hitting the gym early in the mornings for two to three hours a day. The days I have is the best thing in the world because I get to relax and do something fun for once.…
