Chicago Airport Narrative

This summer my parents were sitting at home on a boring sunday night while I was out with my friends. My mom texted me and said I need to come home soon because we were going on a trip tomorrow and my flight leaves around one. When my mom told me we were going to Gulf Shores, Alabama I thought it was really weird and I was not excited. I was actually really upset because it was towards the end of summer and I wanted to stay here and hangout with my friends. So the next morning my Dad and I’s flight left at one P.M and my Mom and brother Kellan’s left at 2. Well at least we thought we were leaving at one, and flying through the Chicago airport but Chicago’s airport was closed due to weather. We didn’t take off til around 5 P.M. Kellan thought he was so facetious making fun of us “That sucks that you have to wait, we will beat you there now”. He said laughing. That wasn’t all the hecticness of traveling that day, When we arrived in Chicago we had missed our connecting flight to Miami, and the next flight available wasn’t until five A.M. We were finally there. at some points at the airport I was very glad my Dad used good discretion because I thought he was going to be really mad and cause a scene. We were finally there and ready to begin our vacation. The first two days we did not do much except hang out at the beach. The sand on the beach felt like walking on hot coals it was so hot, we either had to sprint through the sand or keep our shoes on. On the third of the five days Kellan and I went parasailing. I had already parasailed twice in my life so Kellan had a detriment compared to me. When we first got shot into the air Kellan was freaked out and yelled “oh god”.
