Anyways how it happens is pretty simple I was just driving home from work all is well. The thought of getting behind the wheel seemed like far too much responsibility. While waiting for my mom to drive me anywhere was a somewhat aggravating loss of freedom, I felt I needed more time before I went back to piloting heavy machinery. I felt obligated to act almost as I had when I was first getting my license- I even spent awhile only driving with one of my parents in the passenger seat. At first, I was screaming internally from the moment I put the key in the ignition to the moment I parked it at my destination. Changing lanes made me very anxious, I saw all cars as threats (actually I still do), and unprotected left hand turns came close to actually frightening me.…

When I ride it's like the earth stops at every corner so I can check to make sure a, loud, car isn't roaring towards me. It's like that feeling in your chest that tells you that everything is going to be ok, yet your mind is screaming at you that it won't be. I ride because I was thought that you need to be active in life, but it was never about the one hour of activity time we are supposed to have growing up. it was much more than that. I didn't need help to ride, I needed help to face down my enemies, or conquer my dreams.…

My own riding career thus far had been a roller coaster ride, tendency to second guess myself battled continually with my natural instincts. Over thinking things led me to over riding, and my mixed signals led my horse to produce ignorance. My consistence hesitation caused my horse and I to become mentally stuck. Each lesson was an interminable cycle of frustration, never reaching nirvana. Riding requires both horse and rider to become one.…

My first car was something that I greatly was looking forward to getting as a child and my interest in getting one grew, as the days got closer to my sixteenth birthday. The first car I owned was a Automatic Black 2004 Ford f-150 truck, which I discovered on a website called Craigslist. It was priced at five thousand nine hundred dollars with only eighty-four thousand miles on it, which in my case was great considering that I could only afford a seven thousand dollar car. The truck came with all manual locks and windows and also had a small amount of hail damage that could really only be seen at a certain angle. But even with reasonable price on the truck I still attempted to negotiate for an even lower price to further my luck.…

Being part of the generation who grew up watching Fast and the Furious films has always made me want to drive a car. At that time I knew I still had a while before I could drive, but any chance I got to be in the driver seat I would. My first time I ever got behind the wheel was right after I watch the fast and the furious in 2001. It was during the summer, my mom was washing her car and according to her “I accidently locked myself inside and somehow I managed to turn the car on and started backing up the car.” My mom was so scared she started yelling “put the car on park” “put the car on park” but I had no clue what she meant.…
