Personal Narrative Essay: My Experience Of Summer School

Have you ever been on a trip that you wish you could just have another few days because you’re having so much fun? Sometimes it’s because you didn't give yourself enough time or you're just having too much fun. I know exactly how that feels. These past two weeks, I spent in Ireland. Normally once a year we go for a month but because of summer school starting on the June 19th, we only had 16 days there. Though the time I had there with my parents, sister, and family was priceless, it felt like I was barely there. Even though it went extremely fast, I really enjoyed it and I think we made great use out of the small time we were given. It started off the morning after 8th grade graduation, Thursday, June first. We were all rushing around cleaning the house so that it looked somewhat decent for the people we were having take care of the dogs, cats, hens, and sheep. My whole family, except for me, had their suitcases all packed up lining the wall of the living room. After hours of cleaning and packing and double checking everything, we loaded up the car and took off down the expressway to O’Hare. When arriving there, we unloaded the car, hopped on the shuttle bus, got off it and got on the train, and finally got into terminal five. We headed up to the Aer Lingus counter and sent our bags off. Down to the sheds to see the beautiful horses that my uncle trains and rides and to visit the ponies. We also walked down the field and gave their extreme friendly cows water and the sheep water, too. On Friday and saturday, we went shopping in one of my favorite shops, Pennies. In the store, they have everything; clothes, beauty stuff, home stuff, shoes, and she like all the random and fun junk you can think of, and it's cheap too!
