Katherine Lynne Dasinger: A Personal Analysis

From a young age, I have always been told that I would use my experiences in school to define who I am as a person. Now, halfway done with the most important four years of my education, I think I can honestly look in the mirror and say that I love the person I have become. I am no longer the impressionable young lady that I was when I began school. The person many formally know as Bethenie Katherine Lynne Dasinger has been shaped by an intricate web that has been made up of the many people I have encountered, the academics I have chosen to take, and the extracurricular activities I have been involved in. I still have vivid memories of a cute little bouncy Bethenie in her first-grade class answering every question she could. Not much has changed in the area of actual schooling. I adore learning believe it or not. Learning new pieces of information brings me comfort and makes me feel like I can do anything. I have been enrolled in advanced classes since primary school. Working hard to bring home good grades is normal. Being up until 2 A.M. to finish work is normal. I have been learning for years that persistence and challenging myself are some of the only ways to genuinely prepare myself for the future.
I live for the thought of getting to college and being happy in the path I choose for myself. I depend on my academics to get me there and regardless of the sacrifice I will make it happen. That is another important part of my character. I am willing to do whatever it takes to be successful in whatever I put my mind to, and I have school to thank for that. I have been taught that not everyone will achieve what they want to, but I will fight until the day I die for the opportunities that I work relentlessly
