Ever since I was a kid, I have always wanted to go camping with my family because of the television shows or movies I watch, but we really never gotten a chance to give it a time. So since then, I never expected I’d experience camping until Camp Us was discussed to us in school, during our GE class. Honestly, when I heard of it, childish it may sound, I got really excited and I looked forward to going whether it was required or not. I already thought of how it is going to be; the activities we would be doing, the things I should bring and so much more. Although, I wasn’t really expecting much from it, just hoped that it would be as fun and as memorable as it should always be.

31st of July, a Sunday, came and it is marked for the Camp Us.

We first had our dinner before our first activity. Honestly, I did not like the food they served. Not being picky, but I expected more from it since we paid so much for this event. Thus, I learned so much from it about Enderun: it only has 55 parking slots, it was originally located at Ortigas, etc. The next activity we had was the Anyo Story. All we had to do was to listen. It was entertaining, actually, because other than a good story, all the actors and the narrator really did a great job. After the Anyo Story, we had a Scavenger Hunt Briefing. While the briefing was on going, I knew I wouldn’t like it. I’m one of those people who they call ‘scaredy cats’. I hate horror movies, scary stories, much more the scary activities just like the Scavenger Hunt that we had to do. In this hunting activity, our group was tasked to look for the knife in the cafeteria area first, but only 1 pair had to do it. Everyone in our group was scared that no one wanted to volunteer. Good thing there was a one member in our group who has the bravest soul, and that was my partner, Vince. He knew I was scared so he did not force me to go with him, instead, he encouraged our another guy member to go with him. It was really dark and all we had was a phone flashlight. I heard a lot of screaming which made …show more content…
