Personal Narrative Essay: My Best Friend In High School

Improved Essays
There comes a time in every kid’s life when they meet a buddy that they’ll have all the way through high school. You can always remember what happened to make you and another person click. Especially if that person is your best friend. Sure, I have a lot of pals now, but Aaron Klein has been my best friend for almost eight years. This is our story.
Third grade was the start of it all. Aaron and I had seen each other around before, but it never came to anything. We both had Mrs. Gregory for third grade. Laughing, crying, no matter what, we were always together. Aaron and Noah jumped right into high school and killed it with the upperclassmen. I had problems, however, getting to know the people in the grades above me. It seemed like for us pals, life was about to get a whole lot bigger with endless possibilities opening up around every corner. With our arms linked like a fine chain fence, we plummeted head first into our freshman year of high school. All though a lot of it was just screwing around, Aaron, Noah are my best friends, and as time goes on, I’ll probably still count on them to be there. Just like how I will always be there for them. They are more than just my friends. My love for them is the same as Romeo’s fierce love for his companion Benvolio who was slain by the rival family, the Capulets. Or like a mail man’s love of mail. They 're my brothers. And I care quite deeply for them.
The topic you assigned for this essay was to find a moment in your life that changed it. To tell you the truth, the ways my life changed happened with my best friends by my side. My friends are the reasons I changed the way I did. They’re the reason I turned into this hot mess of anxiety and puns. And for that, I thank them. I can’t thank them enough for what they’ve done over the years. Everything I have is because of those people. Those stupid, boring, amazing

Mrs. Winn’s kindergarten class was probably one of my favorite elementary classes because I had my best guy friend, Cameron, in the class, and it was obviously an easy class for me. I remember whenever we colored anything or did any drawings, my teacher would always compliment my coloring abilities because I knew how to color within the lines; all the other kids had scribbles outside of the lines and their drawings would not be as neat as mine. Cameron and another boy named Jordy were my favorite people in the class and the three of us would always hang out together and play outside during recess. Jordy was my favorite until he snitched on me and told the teacher I did something I did not do. He eventually died out of my life because I did…
