Lidtke Mill Long, long time, ago there was a little girl named Lucy. Lucy was a short little girl with brown curly hair. She had to do her morning chores before they went to church. While she was doing that her purple polka dotted dress caught a gust of wind and blew up and got stuck on the nail that was sticking out of the wall. She was just dangling there because she couldn’t do anything to save herself. Well what would you do if you got caught on a nail? There was only one thing she could do, start screaming for help. She knew her parents or siblings could not help her cause they had already left for church and just left her behind. She was probably screaming for about a half and hour when finally someone came around the corner to help her. She didn’t recognize the guy that …show more content…
They said, “Yes we did, but it was to late, she was already gone.” Jack felt terrible then, but he still didn’t want to have to tell them that is was kind of all his fault. He asked, “Well is there anything I can do to help you out?” They answered, “No we think we can handle this.” So Jack went back to his house and went to bed. While he was asleep he thought he felt himself moving, but didn't really think anything of it and thought it was just a dream. Well all of the sudden he woke up and was being carried out by the river. He had no clue how this was happening until he remembered what had happened that day with Lucy. He knew that Lucy was gonna pay him back for what he had done to her. Lucy took him right by the dam and he knew she was gonna throw him in. Jack started hollering and screaming no no please don’t throw me in! I promise if you put me down I will go straight to your house, first thing in the morning and tell your parents all what had happened. It was too late. Jack felt himself get a throw and the last thing he remembered was hitting the dam. He was gone
