The park has the small entrance that leads to the wide pathway; lined by the row of banyan, maple and cherry blooms tress, tall enough to reach the heaven and their branches spread all over the sky interlocking each other making the perfect canopy for pathway. There are lot of stands where people could enjoy the freshly cooked delicious food. Among them MOMO seem to be everyone favorite. The round or crescent shaped MOMO and the sauce like magma makes my mouth watery. “Pani puri” and “Chatpatay” are more popular among girls. The crunchy, spicy and sour snack makes anyone to go against one will and have it. The stands doesn’t seem to worry about their business because people never seem to get enough of them. The Lakeside rodhi-ghar restaurant and café is also famous inside here. As I entered through the door I would see the typical Nepali style setup that reminds me of the village I was born in. The house made up of stone, mud and thatched roof, firewood stove instead of gas stove, lantern instead of electricity and the hospitality of owner makes the good impression of rural Nepal area. It also seems to be my favorite place because I would see the children arguing with each other to play and leaves me wonder what I was like a child. A red and black painted swing is popular here. There is always competition on how one can swing, but there are children who swing lazily back and forth seemingly lost in their wonderland. A few feet away, there is another attraction on the park that is slide. Pushing each other around and cracking jokes, children seem to enjoy the endless loop of slide. A few meters besides a slide, I spot children rocking up and down in a giant see-saw. One child is jumping as high as he can to touch the sky while other is embracing the handle and waiting for the turn. I could see a few parents watching after children, yelling at them to behave and laughing at them when they tried to do illogical deeds. A loud scream draws my attention and I rushed forward to the sound, only to find people enjoying ferries wheel.
