We were at the freeman middle school in the softball area it was 3:45, about game time. I was passing the ball with my friend Solana.
“You are passing really good Tina!” Solana said

My Dad has always told me to think positive even when the time may not seem like you should. So that's what I did, I thought positive. As soon as i got into the batting box i had my eye on the ball, Bam! the pitcher released the ball as I saw it coming toward me I remembered a tip that my Coach and teammates told me, to use my lower body while swinging. The pitcher released the ball, I swung my bat, as soon as I felt the ball hit my bat I dropped my bat and ran as fast as I could. I touched the base and thought I was safe, but didn't know for sure. The first baseman caught the ball and touched the base as I was waiting for the ump’s call my heart was pounding “Safe” the ump called, i was relieved. Woohoo! I made it, I was so happy. It was important to me, because I learned to never give up in a game, to encourage your teammates, and always think positive. We may have lost this game, but we still won we won as a team. No matter what you should always think positive, even if you think the result may not be as happy or good as you want it to be, but remember life isn't full of cupcakes and rainbows, it does have conflict and it does have obstacles. But if you stay positive you might be able to overcome those. And if you work as a team then your positive attitude may spread to your teammates. And if they have better attitude then you just might have a better
