Personal Narrative Essay: If It Wasn T For Free Will

If it weren't for free will, I wouldn't be who I am as person. Being able to make your own decisions, being able to make the right or wrong choices in life. If we couldn't make our own decisions, than why are we here? I do not feel that if we did not have free will it would not be appropriate to punish people for making bad decisions, It wasn't their choice because there is no free will.
Thinking back on a time when someone wronged me, all I can think about is how my oldest son thought it was a good idea not to study for his mid-terms. I must have asked him every night, "did you study for your test tomorrow?" He would say to me, "I looked over my notes." Well that's not studying.
