Their are good filters and bad filters just like old me and new me. But I remember when i went to elementary I was so cute but sassy at the same time. I always got the girls they loved me for who I was and how I expressed myself but I was only was in first grade when this happened but just from out of thought I said to myself I can be popular with this crisma and selective thinking but did not know how to put it to good use for more friends. All the teachers also loved me for who I was and to come to reality so did my parents. I remember when I was little I would come in fancy pant's shoes vest white long t-shirts just to impress their girls at my table. I would always say check me out i i‘m fresh on the menu tonight it was something like …show more content…
I had three night lights in my room other than that i would pee my pants This shows how bad I am afraid of the dark. Let’s talk about my next fear. The other thing that i fear is lightning when i was little i could barely stand it because i was so afraid because my mother would say something like make sure the bed bugs don't bite and i swear that night when she said the lights go out right now i thought i saw a spider in my my room which i hate spiders but anyways My mom likes lightning but I Don’t like lightning. One reason why I don’t like lightning because she thinks it is relaxing to her. I personally do not like lightning because the sound and looks of lightning scares me. I always thought that my mom was weird for enjoying that. Every time i hear lightning I would go upstairs and hide my blankets over my head and pretend that i couldn’t hear anything and put my blankets over me and cry myself to sleep out of scare dumb. And the day i would wake up My mom would say did karma come and strike you down. I wanted to what is karma was but my reliefs were over but anyways My sisters thought it was funny that i was THAT scared of lightning …show more content…
I’m doing well living on the farm tending to the animals and I still love spending time with my family. One animal that is my favorite is the goats. One Reason why I like the goats is that they seem to be so joyful and I think it is so adorable when they jump around. My last reason is that they are the cutest when they are babies. I loved the summer because my family and I would create hay for our cows we would work plant in the garden and, we would go swimming and go to the park. Other animals we have on the farm is cats, dogs and we even have 2 ponds. I like to go fishing and go for boat rides in our pond. The cats are really friendly to everyone but, they can get easily scared. Our dogs can get really hyper and they are really playful. One game they like to play is the tug of war. They also like to playfully like to wrestle and give you puppy kisses. I think it is really funny when they play tug of war with you. But In general we all work hard and when we're done with a day of work we relax at night watch movies or, just spend time with each other. After having so much fun with animals we would start planting tomatoes bell peppers onions garlic cabbage broccoli then the yellow banana squash pumpkin something squash egg squash radish banana peppers helping peppers hibinarrow peppers scrorian peppers then pees beans green beans cucumbers pumpkins watermelons sweet potatoes sweet potato squash corn

Do you, as an individual, conform to society or do you like to show people that you are different than most others? Out of the seven billion people who live in this world, most would say they conform to society, which is very natural. Humans are social beings and conforming to society is one way that we show each other that we are like them. Sometimes we feel obligated to conform by the people we respect, look up to, or people who are in higher positions than us. In the article, “The Sociology of Leopard Man”, Logan Feyes states that, “conformity can be seen as the world’s most common but dangerous psychological disorder.”…

Yesterday marked the six-month anniversary of the day I was hired for my fifty-cent-more than minimum wage post at a big-box pet store. I started off as a cashier and made my way over into Pet Care in record time, especially for someone who had close to no experience with the animals I would be caring for. I knew a bit about the small mammals; hamsters, gerbils, guinea pigs, rats, mice, and chinchillas, and I tried to make that a bigger selling point than it actually is. There isn't nearly as much to know about them as there is, say, eyelash crested geckos. Or running a fucking fish tank.…

Throughout the majority of my life, I was self-conscious and constantly worried about how I was perceived by others. As a child, I had always felt slightly out of place among my peers. I was just a little too quirky to fit into any of the groups at my school and I was too shy to force my way into one. I could not exactly understand what made me so different from my classmates and I desired more than anything to gain the self-confidence to express myself.…

It is well known that the south is one of the most conservative places in the United States, with a mainly republican population, a history of racial tension, and the intolerance shown by some of the residents. The South prides itself on believing in “traditional” values and shows little to no understanding of the changes that are happening in the world. It’s no wonder then that I, as a half Mexican-American, gay young woman have run into prejudice and discrimination based on my sexaul orientation, gender, and race. It is natural for people to explore who they are and what they want to be as they are growing up, especially throughout puberty and the years following. In doing so, many young adults change their style various times, going through differences in their taste of clothes, hobbies, and hair styles.…

Throughout my childhood, adults frequently questioned me on whether or not I fit the stereotype of the only child. I have been asked if I was spoiled and bossy more times than I can count. In a way, I feel that I did fit this stereotype as a child, but I also feel at one time or another every child believes the world revolves around them. My family has described my younger self as being very defiant and strong-willed. I regularly did not listen to any of the tasks authority figures asked me to do, and instead I would stare at them and continue to do whatever I wanted.…

In my opinion, lessons are important because they have transformed me into the person that I am today.
