Training a cat is like dieting. It won’t be as effective and there is a huge chance of it backfiring if you are trying to have a balanced diet and everyone else on your family table is eating without care.
Cats can forget what you have taught them if you do not repeat the training regularly and if a family member accidentally juggles everything that you have installed into your cat’s memory. It will cause confusion to the poor cat, you will end up mad, and both you and the cat will not achieve anything. Sad but true.
If you do not want this to happen, as soon as you have made up your mind about training your feline and have created a little list of what you are going to teach it, let your whole family know.
