I have built a drag truck. We built a street truck when I say we it`s my dad and Kaleb and me. It is a 1985 S10 with a 350 cubic inches motor in it. It has big tires on the back small on the front the body looks like its right out of the junk yard. I did not have a really big money that I wanted to have to build it. I work fast food so I cannot really spend crazy amounts on parts.
One day I was on one of my Facebook car pages and I was looking thru there and seen a 1986 S10 with a 307 in it so I texted the guy about it and asked if it was running and driving and how much he wanted for the truck. He texted back right away and said it runs cannot drive it because the radiator is busted and no air cleaner 800 obo (or best offer). I texted back saying okay thanks for writing back and I could give you 600 and I will come get it now. He texted back saying I will take it. He told me his address and it was in KY about an hour away so I told him it will be about two hours because I had to go get my uncles trailer and my dad’s truck to go there and get it.

I order it all from summit racing ( block, heads ,cam) I used the other parts from the 307 to build it the rest of the way and painted the heads and block yellow then dropped it in the truck with a 350 turbo trans. I got it running and driving and then went to the race track and raced it down the track for the first time and it ran really good for the first time racing it. I ran a 10 sec the first time without all power so I put more power to it and ran 9.89sec time. So I raced it the rest of this season and finished 5th with the truck which was really amazing for my truck and the first season with it next year I hope to have a nos system on it with 2 stages and bigger cam and intake should make my times around 8sec flat for the quarter mile that’s amazing for a pro street truck that is all
