It was so amazing I couldn't even believe it. My friend Lucas had just called me telling me he received two tickets for the Guns n Roses concert this weekend and that he wanted me to go with him. I was shocked, it was one of my favorite bands and they had come back together for one last tour after their retirement. Since I was in New York by myself and the concert was in Newark which is not so close and at the same time one of the most dangerous places in the area I had to call my mom and dad to get permission but since it was a one in a lifetime opportunity I was almost sure they were going to say yes.

It turned out they didn't let me they said it was to dangerous for a 16 year old and her friend to go by themselves to a concert out of the city. They started talking about all the things that could've had gone wrong, they were so many I even started to get scared but never had second thoughts. This was something I really wanted to do and experience.

Since I was by myself at New York I said to myself I will go, and I wont tell them a thing. I was not going to miss my concert anyway possible.
I ended up using the money I had saved to buy my bus ticket.

I instantly called my friend and started planning our scape plan on the day of the concert. We were going for sure and we didn't care what our parents said.

I nervously started to brainstorm for ideas to fix this problem. We got out of the line and walked through the parking lot to see if we encountered with someone who might have helped us. I grabbed Lucas by the hand and hasted through the

We were going to hear them sing, to us, and it was amazing. When you think about seeing someone in concert you think about someone you have been dying to see. The night before we left for Shakopee, I studied the bands, what kind of music they played and what they sounded like. Very few of them became favorites, as I am very picky the kind of music I listen to. I was scared because I was still fairly new to this, but by the end of the night I wasn’t scared…

Tickets were kind of difficult to get because it was so close to the concert, but they were some of the best seats I’ve ever had at a concert. We didn’t feel like finding a parking spot at the Moda Center so we decided to take the Tri-met, which was my first time ever on it. It was a lot nicer than the one in Arizona and we laughed and talked about our day. We got there about 45 minutes before the opening act, Slydigs, began and she bought…

Today I went to Holiday in Whoville concert with Kelly together. It is really a very good experience for me because this concert is very different than other concerts that I have been before. Compare to other concerts this concert is more like a big party for me. When the singers sing the songs on the stage, all the audience can sing along with them together. To know that she thought I should even consider quitting made me feel that I had let myself and my teacher down. After that day, I was called to the guidance office to decide if I would stay or leave the band. I was torn on whether to listen to my teacher or myself. As I sat in the guidance office, the counselor gave me two choices: to quit band or to get a tutor and practice until I could catch up with the other students. After deliberating over it and talking with my parents, I decided that I would stay in the band no matter how difficult it might be.…
