Apocalypse

Grant, Jonah, and I got of the bus in San Francisco and had to walk to the airport. We couldn’t find it so we ask someone. They said “ you'll see a big chemical place beside it, you can’t miss it from their. We had to hurry because our flight left pretty soon. WE probably got the best seats on the plane and we THOUGHT it was going to be a very enjoyable ride. When we took off I noticed out the window that we weren’t getting of the ground, at all. We were getting towards the end of the runway and didn’t look like we were getting air anytime soon.
We smashed right into the chemical place and a big explosion filled our ears with loudness. When I finally woke up, fire was everywhere and I was trapped. Grant and Jonah were able to get me out but i had a big gash in my leg. We walked or limped back to the city because no one was at the airport everyone was gone. We thought we saw someone so we went over to there. Their head was bent down like they were looking at someone dead on the ground. They were dead on the ground but the person wasn’t looking at him… he was eating him.

The person looked up at us and got to his feet. He stared at us for a good 20 seconds and started running/ jogging at us. We backed up slowly but Grant stayed there in one spot staring at the body like it was someone he knew. We were yelling at him but he wouldn’t move. That thing was really close know so we couldn’t go back and get him but right before the thing was about to get him he snapped out of his dream, like thing but it was too late and the zombie thing tackled him to the ground. We went to help but even more came out of building to our right so we had to leave Grant

“Ladies and gentlemen, please take your seats and fasten your seatbelts, we will be departing shortly.” I find myself clutching my seat's armrests as the plane begins to move down the runway. I await the turbulence signaling the plane’s flight, my eyes glued to the window on my left, witnessing the ground getting further and further away. The thrill finally comes, the adrenaline coursing through my body as the plane takes off into the sky, and soon my surroundings are nothing but clouds, pure and fluffy as if they were cotton. I count the minutes, like a child waiting for recess, leading to my true journey that begins when my feet touch solid ground.…

    Analysis Of Jonah

Even within the non-denominational church I grew up in, God was characterized in several ways. God is omniscient, all powerful, and mighty, but he is also kind, loving, and fatherly. He is the king of kings and also the rest for the weary. He is a mighty storm and a peaceful river. This marked difference in characterizations led me to seek counsel from the UChicago chapter of InterVarsity staff this past autumn quarter, when an opportunity to meet one-on-one arose.…

Within 24 Hours It was 2:32 p.m., the plane was coasting the concrete for almost five minutes now. I had landed in Phoenix, Arizona and the ride from the oaky part of California; that no teenager ever visits, was pretty pleasant, apart from the fact that I had to pee the entire time. Honestly, I seriously was the only fifteen year old there, awkwardly squeezing my quivering legs together while I tried to get people to focus their attention on the small packaged peanuts I kept eating. Even after all the noise I made, constantly pushing my index finger and thumb through the sealed plastic, they probably still noticed my legs trembling. I could not wait for the plane to reach the correct terminal so that I could deplane and run for the bathroom.…

    I. Introduction The book of Jonah can be used to postulate a number of different theological suppositions. For those that want to press their position on the sovereignty of God, then it easy to use Jonah for the way God manipulates the wind, the sea, the whale, the sun, and even the worms! For those that want to point out the debilitating effects of disobedience and its consequential effects toward depression, then Jonah is a good case study. This man begs God to take his life three times in the short narrative.…
