I was originally born in Moldova. Moldova is located above the Black Sea and between the Ukraine and Romania. Where I am from people wake up before the crack of dawn to take their cows, and animals out to the fields. The women are traditionally in the home cooking while the men usually go to work. Most of the women would do chores such as cleaning the house, feeding the chickens, cows, and the dogs, and collect the laid eggs from the chickens. The children in Moldova walk to school because there aren't any buses, and needless to say, had I grown up in Moldova my life would

Thank goodness that my best friend and a few others were also transferred there too. One of my favorite subjects at this school was physical education, I always loved to do my best at everything and I loved working out with my friends. One great thing about physical education at this school was that if everyone worked together and did their best then when we were done with our plan for the day we would get to play some games. They would only let us take physical education for one semester but if I could I would take it for the whole year. One of my main subjects favorite teacher was Mr. Larson, he always made English class fun. He actually taught me how to write a research paper, even if I may not be that good at it, at least I know how to do it. During the summer my mom moved to Atlanta Georgia before she left she made a deal with me and my brother that we could stay in Oregon for the summer but have to move to Georgia in August. My brother and I spent the summer at my dad's and hung out with our friends and relatives. After we moved to Georgia we had to start school shortly after we arrived there. For 10th grade I started school at Druid Hill high school, I enjoyed my friends that I made there but I did not like the school very much. The school system wasn’t very good, the gym teachers didn't do anything, the students that had physical education didn't do anything but sit around. One time a student actually ordered pizza and the teachers didn't care. Some teachers had issues with students even if the students didn't do anything wrong. Some teachers would fail students because they don't like the student. The student wouldn't be able to do anything about it because the teacher would just say the student did not turn in work. they would get away with it because who would believe a student over a teacher let alone an adult.

Having gone to two different high schools I got to experience, firsthand, just how different two schools in the same county can be. Marvin ridge and Weddington High School are completely different in their appearance, their students and their academics. Marvin was the first high school that I attended. Its nickname was " Marvin Rich". The Ridge had a certain feeling to it when you stepped foot in its doors, almost as if the air was filled with exhaust from pricey cars and cologne from name brand stores.…

The summer before my senior year, I suddenly realized I had in four years, only collected ten volunteer hours out of the sixty required to earn an honors diploma. My nerves were on edge, my adrenaline was pumping; I watched our third leg trailing our school’s rival, Hastings, the anchor was up next for our 400 freestyle relay and the only thing that stood in the way of winning or losing the race was me. Immediately I dove in; the sight of my opponent's feet next to me made me swim harder and faster. Coming into the fourth and last lap I used everything that I had left in me to finish strong. Right at that moment, I saw an opportunity and took advantage of it, I noticed my opponent was closing in too early. Sprinting to the wall as fast as I can, I glanced at the time score and saw a bright florescent number one next to my lane, at that moment I was at loss of words.…
