Every student is different and every student has their own story. I chose the prompt in which I would tell you about a story so central to my identity that my application would not be the same without it. However, this is a personal narrative, and I am supposed to be telling you about the real me. So, excuse me if I do not follow the prompt like I am supposed to. For example, my art. Art is a very important part of my life. Without it I would have no way of expressing myself that fits my personality. Art is an outlet for me and when I first got into it, middle school, I was going through a rough time. Rejection is never easy and on top of that, depression kicked in. No, I am not talking about relationships but instead, getting my art out into the world and finding out where I was going with my life. I will admit I did not really know what I was doing with my art, i did not have a style and I was all around sloppy, but at least I was trying right?
