Dreams come true

I slowly waddled out of my bed and looked around to make sure I was still in my room. I always seem to wake up startled and frankly, a bit panicked after one of my adventurous dreams. Though I can say this one was different. It was a spur of mixed emotions and what seemed to be the realest dream i 've yet come to experience. It all started out one night, right before midnight. I was on my normal daily routine binging on Netflix and eating something that I had probably sneaked up into my room to enjoy my show with. I love horror and action films. After watching about 3 different shows and half a movie I realized the sun was trying to sneak its way

We made minimal eye contact and as he as he rode off into the dark road, I felt this strange shock too my chest. All I could see was darkness, I was suddenly back in my room. I looked next to me and found my phone splattered into a thousand pieces. I had lost all my memories, photos, and data in a matter of seconds. I got a feeling of hopelessness and then suddenly my house was on fire. I managed to open my window but i couldn 't jump off since i was on the second …show more content…
It turns out he was real, and every time i feel confused, hopeless, or like my house is on fire, he’s always been there too the rescue me from every situation. In realization since the day I met him I get that sudden shock feeling every time. What really made me see that this dream was more than a dream was when my phone shattered. If I ever broke something i would feel that feeling like when i broke my phone. Then again who’s to say it wasn 't all the films I had squeezed into a couple hours that made me have that crazy dream. At the end of it i still wish i could have learned how to make chocolate in class and realized i have a shadow that i am very grateful

Now, I am 25 years of age, still yet to have a family of my own because I’ve always ran it trying to get away. I figured it was evil because it always showed itself after something in my life I prayed for it to go back from wherever it came from, but it wouldn’t, it never backed off, but would only become closer when I feared it. At this point, I had given up until the night it all made sense. I awoke from a dream late at night breathing heavily, with my heart pounding at what felt like 100 mph. I realized it was the first time I had slept well without having a dream.…

Given, that is usually after several nights of not getting enough sleep, going to bed late, and waking up early. My abnormal sleep pattern kept me constantly tired, but it was spring break. Sure I went to sleep late, but I also had the opportunity to sleep in, so I was well rested before I started my little experiment. That Tuesday I slept over at my grandma’s house with my three siblings and my two cousins. I still went to bed late but not as late, just as I had the previous few nights.…

The room looked like something you might see on the news, not in your own home. I saw all of the small details that you could not see in a picture. The sliding glass door in the corner of the room was shattered due to the heat. There were outlines on the wall where photos used to be from the smoke. The attic was falling apart and our wood flooring was singed to a black, burnt crisp.…

Going to the movie theater used to serve as a special day to me, usually spent with my family or friends for an event. Going to the theaters and buying the popcorn, candy and soda was a big day out for my family. As the prices rise, and we get older and our lives are busy, we go less and less. A trip to the movies can cost up to $30, depending on what you are buying. The last time I went to the movie theater I was babysitting, it was a place that would keep the kids entertained for two hours, and I got to watch a movie I enjoyed.…

I had texted my neighbor, Kevin, back in order to find out what was going on, because obviously he was in the loop of things. I waited for a reply and when I opened his message, I was in a state of disbelief. He had said to me that my house had somehow caught on fire and was burning down as we spoke. I ran downstairs and curled up on the couch to cry until my grandma came up to me to figure out what was going on. I informed her right away and we packed up our things and headed to the house, just getting there in time to see the disaster left standing where I used to feel safe.…
