We played street soccer, street tennis, basketball and other sports in our own street because there wasn’t any courts or fields in this town, except maybe one and those were always occupied by older guys anyway. Even if there wasn’t much that this town provided us with, we always loved it and wanted to represent it in many different fields. Cuprija was famous for soccer, running and handball. Another field in which this town was famous was the game that I wrote in my first essay which is the ‘Counter Strike’ video game. No matter how poor and undeveloped Cuprija is, everyone in the country knew about it somehow, whether it was in a good or a bad way.
The biggest river in the country, called Velika Morava, passes through this town, for which this town is famous for because we have a bridge on it, the name Cuprija means ‘bridge’ in Turkish. Velika Morava is just another natural beauty that Cuprija has.
Memories of my childhood and this town will forever be with me because it shaped who I am today. The life lessons I’ve learned made me prepared for my future, where ever I might be. All of my friends and family impacted me in some way, they give the significance of this small town, which is another reason why I will never forget that
