Cuprija Research Paper

This place, where I grew up, learned about the world, experienced my first feelings and where I gained the experiences that will be beneficial for the rest of my life. This place is a small town in my home country in Serbia; it’s called Cuprija. It is a place where I lived the first sixteen years of my life; went to kindergarten, middle school and the first year of high school. Cuprija can be beautiful in some ways, but it is mostly perceived as a ‘negative’ and a ‘bad’ town because of all the crimes that happened in it and because of the local corruption. We played street soccer, street tennis, basketball and other sports in our own street because there wasn’t any courts or fields in this town, except maybe one and those were always occupied by older guys anyway. Even if there wasn’t much that this town provided us with, we always loved it and wanted to represent it in many different fields. Cuprija was famous for soccer, running and handball. Another field in which this town was famous was the game that I wrote in my first essay which is the ‘Counter Strike’ video game. No matter how poor and undeveloped Cuprija is, everyone in the country knew about it somehow, whether it was in a good or a bad way.
The biggest river in the country, called Velika Morava, passes through this town, for which this town is famous for because we have a bridge on it, the name Cuprija means ‘bridge’ in Turkish. Velika Morava is just another natural beauty that Cuprija has.
Memories of my childhood and this town will forever be with me because it shaped who I am today. The life lessons I’ve learned made me prepared for my future, where ever I might be. All of my friends and family impacted me in some way, they give the significance of this small town, which is another reason why I will never forget that

I hope that the life that I have worked so hard to create and now maintain, will allow my future students to thrive as individuals. My family was raised on many rules and many principles, but the most important influence that my entire family tree has in common is one thing: love. My teaching philosophy and life philosophy are very much alike. I want to love the unloved, teach the untaught, and believe in the ones that others have lost hope in. There is no such thing as a lost cause in my mind, and I believe that the principles of hard work and love that my parents instilled in my mind growing up have absolutely shaped me into exactly the person that I am today.…
