It was a rainy Monday morning when Angela had a bad feeling in the pit of her stomach. But she brushed it off kissed her husband George goodbye and went ahead and went into work. She was a surgical resident at a nearby hospital and had just started on her daily rounds when the call came in. He was a gunshot victim, badly wounded and barely hanging on for dear life. He had gotten in an altercation with a 16-year-old boy about a parking spot when the young man pulled out a hand gun and didn’t hesitate at all when it came to pulling the trigger. He didn’t just pull the trigger once either, he emptied the clip. Angela ran into the room ready for whatever was about to be thrown at her but she still wasn’t quite prepared for what she was about
