Travel Baseball
“Were going to Nebraska for baseball this summer’’ my mom said. I was really happy to hear that we were going to Nebraska because It's always fun going out of state with my team. I started to play travel baseball when I was 11 years old. I spend most of my summers playing the great game of baseball, and traveling out of state to baseball tournaments. I love to play baseball with my friends and watch it too, it's my favorite sport. Through travel baseball i met new friends that i'm still friends as of today. I've also traveled to lot of different states through baseball, that's my favorite part about travel baseball is going on a big trip for a big tournament. Lastly through travel baseball I've been playing competitive baseball and it’s been developing me into a better player.

My first team I played on was the Macomb Vengeance. I played for them for two years and i'm still friends with 2 of the kids on the team Jose and Jacob. Jose and Jacob are both thin, and athletic, they're both funny, and they both have short hair. Jose has his ears pierced, and Jacob is short.Even though we don't play on same team we're still friends and we still talk. When I played on the Michigan patriots these past two years in 13u and 14u I've met new friends also. I'm really good friends with Garrett and Josh who i met on the team. Now we're not on the same team anymore but were still good friends and we hangout a lot. Garrett also lives right next to my grandmas so I still get to hangout with him a lot. Garrett is short, thin, very athletic, and he has short spiked brown hair. He kind of reminds me of myself. Me and Garrett were best friends on the baseball team, we would always play catch, and hang out at hotel's after our tournament. I'm still meeting new people and friends as of today, I'm in 15u travel baseball now and i met new friends on my new team the Marine city

Baseball: the sport where you stand around for 20 minutes and move 3 feet to the left and move 3 feet to the right. It’s so intense. It’s so intense that you could take a nap on the field with everything out there. Of course, I’m being sarcastic. The only time it’s actually fun is when you’re annihilating the other team while they’re asleep on the field.…

The game of baseball has always been in my life since I was a child. My love for the game began when I was five years of age signing up for tee ball at the local little league. As a child, I would imagine myself as a professional ballplayer. I would mimic my idols every chance I had or I would dream of myself being in a critical situation to win the game and to make history. Now, I am chasing my dream by trying to become one of those greats who played the game.…

There were quite of few memorable experiences I got to participate in this baseball season. I got to play in three different state tournaments. Our first state tournament (High School Season) we got first, the second one (Legion) we got eighth, and the third one (Teeners) we got third. My favorite one was High School state because we had a really good first game and won in 13 innings which was exciting.…

I loved baseball growing up and I found myself on multiple teams at a time. One of the Leagues I happened to be in was the Lafayette Little League. My brother and I played here for many years and umpired as well. When I was 12 years old, I was put on the Little League all-star team. Unlike the years before on the team, this year was special because we had an opportunity, which was very slim, to go the Little League World Series in Williamsport, Pennsylvania.…

While growing up, sports have always been a big part of my life. At the age of only six years old, my parents first signed me up for coach pitch softball. Little did they know that I was going to fall in love with the game and that they were going to have to spend countless hours at softball fields during the spring each year watching me play. Being so young when I first started playing, winning and losing did not matter at all. As long as I got to throw, hit, and catch the ball, I was happy.…

Sixty miles per hour is the speed at which the average softball player throws the ball; so I guess you could say I was in the wrong place at the wrong time, but I believe I was exactly where I was supposed to be. You know how some people say there was a certain moment that changed their life completely? Well, this was that moment for me, and it all was caused by a miscommunication. Miscommunications happen all of the time, but with a softball that isn't actually soft, and someone standing only 30 feet away from you; well you can already see the implications. At the time, I didn't see what was going to unfold, but I had a bad feeling about what was to come.…
